HUGE SELECION OF SLAB LUMBER

One of the largest selections of live edge slabs in the area with an inventory of over 20,000 bd ft. All are local species reclaimed from the urban forest including the favorites like maple, oak, cherry and walnut plus many unusual species like sassafras, mulberry, black locust, cucumber magnolia, and many more for a one-of-a-kind project. Availability and inventory are constantly changing. Much of the wood is figured with beautiful grains. I stock a wide variety of slab sizes good for tables, desks, shelving, cutting boards, small projects and decorative pieces. All is air dried for a minimum of 2 years, then kiln dried to between 6 and 8% moisture, flattened and sanded to 80 grit. This process ensures stability and no bugs.
