4/4 African Padauk Lumber - $14.50/BF

I run a lumberyard in Spring, TX called Wood Flippers. I sell quality kiln dried exotic and domestic furniture grade hardwood lumber, cut-off’s and cutting board blanks to folks in and around the greater Houston area, but we also ship lumber within the Continental United States. So, even if you’re not local to the Houston area, do know that freight is always available. This particular listing is for SEL&BTR grade 4/4 (1” thick) Padauk dimensional lumber. Padauk is an exotic wood that is a bright orange or almost crimson wood when freshly cut, but oxidizes to a darker, rich purple-brown over time - although it stays redder than Indian Rosewood. Slightly harder and heavier than Indian Rosewood, it is a good wood in all respects - stable, and easy to work with. It often grows in small groups and is reported to be common in dense equatorial rain forests. My Padauk boards are all 7 and 8’ long. Widths are random, but the average board is 6+” wide.
